Se encuentra emplazado en el subterr\u00e1neo del Edificio de Ingenier\u00eda en Minas de la Facultad de Ciencias F\u00edsicas y Matem\u00e1ticas de la Universidad de Chile con un \u00e1rea de 100 m2<br><br>Sus profesionales poseen expertiz en caracterizaci\u00f3n de roca intacta, estimaci\u00f3n de propiedades de macizo rocoso, dise\u00f1o y estabilidad de excavaciones subterr\u00e1neas y en superficie, soporte de excavaciones, sismicidad inducida por minera y tronadura. Conocimiento complementado con tecnolog\u00eda y desarrollo de herramientas computacionales, lo que posiciona al laboratorio a nivel nacional e internacional.<br><br>Ofrecemos m\u00faltiples soluciones a la industria minera para la caracterizaci\u00f3n de macizos rocosos mediante ensayos destructivos y no destructivos. Adicionalmente contamos con licencias de softwares especializados en el \u00e1rea: :Itasca (FLAC3D, 3DEC, PFC3D), Rocscience (RS3, RS2, Slide, DIPS, entre otros) y Simulia
